About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

for S2 visa holder is it necessory to apply residence permit?

My husband is a student in China. I have S2 type for 180 days If I stay PRC within this period are there any requirement to apply temporary residence permit.

Dear, if you hold S2 type, you cannot apply for temporary residence permit.
