luoyang to shaolin templeback

Question

Hi! So it seems that to get to the temple from LY I have two options:- To get a bus for Xuchang or Xinmi, which stop by the temple. No shuttle bus needed. But to go back I somehow have to manage to flag a bus and ask if they are heading towards LY, right? :S- To get a bus to Dengfeng and from there take a shuttle bus to the temple? From the same bus station? Is there like a regular shuttle bus service?thanks for your help!

From LY, you can take bus heading to Xinmi and get off at Dengfeng Bus Terminal(2 hours), then transfer to West Station to take bus no. 8 and get to the temple (one hour). After the visit, you can wait for the bus at the entrance of the temple, the bus is from Xuchang and get to Luoyang Bus Station, the ride takes around 2 hours.

Thanks Daniel!! I bought ticket to Dengfeng and the bus stopped by the temple so no transfer was needed! :)
