About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

12 hour stopover in Shanghai from Auckland to Delhi

If we leave the airport, do we have to take our suitcases with us, or are we able to leave them with the airline as we would if we didn't leave the airport?

Jodine, you can contact with the airline and see if your luggage will be transferred to the final destination directly. If yes, you don’t need to collect it and take it with you; if not, you need to collect it and then you can store it in the luggage office inside the airport.
