About:Yangzhou Street Scene

applied for a 2.5years MBA program with an X1 visa but i was given a 1year residence permit

a friend of mine was admitted for a 2.5 year MBA program but when he applied for his residence permit he was given a one year permit. can you please tell me why?

Temidee, it's normal. For most foreigners applying for the residence permit for the first time, the validity of the residence permit is only one year. Then he can renew it at the office one month before the residence permit expires.
