About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

How many tourist visas can a foreigner apply for?

I'm sure there's a limit of tourist L types one can apply. What would be the longest a person could stay in PRC provided that they keep renewing their L type?

In the case of a tourist L type with multiple entries, how many months could one stay in PRC at the most (after leaving the mainland and coming back over and over again)?

Hi Marcus! As far as I know, there is no explict regulations for how many tourist L types one can apply. So I think you can just apply for a one-year multiple entry L type every year.

A person can stay in PRC for a stay of no more than 183 days if they keep on renewing the L type or leaving and returning over and over gain. Again, no law or regulations stipulates this but many peopler say so.
