About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Single or double entry Visa required???

On Princess cruise arriving Hong Kong 5th July - 8am leaving 6th July - 5 pm...arriving Shanghai 9th July - 7am leaving 11pm...arriving Beijing 12th July - 4am leaving 11pm.
Princess advise single entry permit, can you please confirm this is correct information please as others state double entry required.. Thank you

Dear, because you are Australia passport holders, you can enjoy free entry to HK.
When you go to Beijing from Shanghai, if the cruise ship is in the Chinese waters all the time, a single-entry one is okay; but if it will be in the open sea, a double-entry one is needed. You’d better contact with the embassy and confirm that.
