About:How to Refund / Cancel a China Train Ticket

Name on ticket not full

As I booked using 12306.com my name on the site was simply my surname, so when I selected myself as a passenger it autofilled my info (with only my surname) and wouldnt let me edit it. I now know that I couldve just filled out my own details as a new passenger but didnt at the time and just booked it.

Is this a problem? Do I need to/can I change it?

Hello, Anna! I have read that the authority is very strict with the passenger information. I do think it will be better to book it with your full name. I have read that the passenger information can not be changed once it booked, so I guess you need to cancel the original one and buy a new one instead.
