About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

22 hours layover in guangzhou

Am i eligible for 72hours free transit? Can I tour around the city? Im filipino and holding philippine passport and have valid Residence visa in uae.

Ryan, you are not eligible for the 72 hour free transit because of your passport, but you can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit in Guangzhou if your next destination is different from the last country you departed. In this case, no entry permit is needed.
If you want to travel around the city, you need to apply for a temporary stay permit at the airport; it’s free of charge.
