Tour for forbidden city 9th November 2016?

We are 2 elderly ladies staying at Novotel Xin Qiao is this close to Forbidden City

Forbidden City is about 15 minutes drive from your hotel. You may take subway line 5 to Dongdan and change line 1, get off at Tiananmen. Then walk to the destination. You can also take taxi directly, the fare is around CNY15 per cab.
