can i get a school that can change my M visa to a student X type in china, i am from Gambia.

Trawelly, it is possible for you to change M visa to X visa, but no one can assure that. You can have a try! If it cannot be done, I’m afraid you need to exit PRC and apply for it from the embassy of PRC in other countries.6
