how to make an invitation letter??

My chinese girl friend wants to invite me to china.. but she don't know how and where to make an invitation letter???
kindly tell me where and how she can make an inviting letter for me so i can get visa to china.. thanks

You can find the sample of the invitation letter at this website. She can download a sample and fill it out, and then print it out for your use.

does she need any stamp or sign from any department on the invitation letter?? or she can just do it by herself?? and which type visa i should apply so can i stay there for 6 months atleast?

Johnny, she doesn’t need any stamp or sign from any department. She can just do it by herself.
Considering your situation, a tourist L type is suitable to you, but it cannot allow you to stay for 6 months at least and you can apply for an extension 7 days before it expires after you enter.
You are UK citizen, so it’s possible for you to apply for 2-year multiple-entry tourist L type. It’s worth a try.
