Transit twice on route to Nepal

Hi, My itinerary is below. I will transit in Shanghai for 48hrs on the way to Nepal, and then Kunming for 48hrs on the way home from Nepal to Australia (Australian Passport). The flight from Shanghai to Kathmandu also transits Kunming, and vice versa on the way home, where I transit Shanghai. Is this suitable for 72 hour transit visa's in Shanghai on the way to Nepal, and Kunming on the way home from Nepal?
