What are the requirements for tourist visa, applying from Thailand?

Hi there! It's me Christine, I am currently working in Thailand and planning to apply a Tourist L type going to China. What are those required documents to be submitted in the PRC Embassy as I am a Philippine passport holder? I need an answer as soon as you read it.
Thank you!
Hope to hear you soon.

Christine, the required documents are as follows:
1. Your passport and copy of its data page
2. The filled-out application form attached with a recently-taken passport-style photo
3. Your work permit in Thailand
4. Round trip air tickets and accommodation booking record
5. Proof of your financial standing if it’s the first time you apply for it
And you may also be required to provide an invitation letter from Chinese Tourist Bureau.

Do I need to have an invitation letter from china? How about if I don't know anyone there? I just want to visit the country itself and just explore the place there. Is there any possibility that my Application will still be approved if I don't have the invitation letter?

The invitation letter from an individual is not required. But it's likely that you will be required for an invitation letter from the Tourist Bureau. However, this letter is not required to all applicants, so you can try to apply without it.

Christine, there is no specific amount requirement for your pocket money. But if possible, you’d better provide a large amount of travel fees to support yourself and it should cover all your expenses in PRC.

No, you don't need to submit such documents. You only need to submit round-trip tickets and hotel booking records.
