Yes, you need to get an entry permit for this visit. It's possible to apply from South Africa. The application should be sent to the CVASC office in Johannesburg or Durban.

If you apply from Durban, it takes six working days. If you apply from Johannesburg, it takes four working days.

The fees are ZAR 800, 1000, 1200, 1600 respectively for the single-entry, 3-month double-entry, 6-month multiple-entry, and 12-month multiple-entry types.
