About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

I'm an Indian - Traveling Hongkong - Guangzhou - Hongkong then back to India.

My main purpose of travel is to visit canton fair. I got an invitation letter to apply for visa (I think M type).
I'll be staying in Guangzhou for 5 days then after that, I'm planing to tour HK and Macau for four days. Please explain me the visa, immigration process and easiest mode of transportation from HK to Guangzhou and vice versa.

My flights will be from India - HongKong - India.

So my doubts are
1) Should I get entry permit for HK right after arrival in the airport?
2) I think I will be travelling to Guangzhou by train on day 1 of arrival. So, Where should I do the immigration and visa process for Guangzhou?

1. You don’t need it to enter HK because Indian passport holders are allowed to enter HK freely for a stay of not exceeding 14 days.
2. You need to apply for a business M type in advance of your trip at the CVASC in India.
3. You can go to Guangzhou by taking a Gunagzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong High Speed Train from Hong Kong Hung Hom Station to Guangzhou East Railway Station. In this case, you need to pass through the immigration inspection at the Guangzhou East Railway Station by presenting your passport and entry permit.
