About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Passport validity for 144-hours visa waiver

I am a Canadian citizen. In order to use 144-hours free transit at the entry of Shanghai airport, does my passport have to have more than 6 months validity?

Kathy, when you apply for an entry permit, it requires that the remaining validity of your passport should be at least 6 moths.
As for 144 hour policy, as long as your passport is valid and you qualify for the relevant requirements, you can use the free transit.
