Applying for Chinese 30 day Tourist Visa

Hi there,
We are currently in Laos and are planning on heading to China next. I am finding it really difficult to work out how much the a tourist L type will cost in total.

I have both an NZ and UK passport so I am trying to work out which is the cheaper passport to travel on.

All I have found is that an NZ 30 day single entry L type is NZ$140 and the UK Single entry is GB£85 with a GB£66 service fee. Is this correct? Do NZ passort have a service fee too?
Thanks!

Alex, you need to use the passport you used to enter Laos to apply for Chinese tourist L type.
And usually it charges USD15 when you apply for it in Laos. But this is just for reference. The fees for applicants of third Countries may be different from that. Final payment is subject to the actual amount given by the embassy of PRC in Laos.

The fees you mentioned above refer to the payment charged when you apply for it in NZ or UK. And when you apply for it in NZ, there is no service fee, the final payment is NZ$140; when you apply for it in UK, the final payment should be 151 pounds.
