white cloud mountain visit

Question

Hello! I have a 7 hour lay-over (11.25 - 19.00) in Baiyun Airport. I checked online, it says there that I wont be needing a visa if confirmed flight is no more than 24 hours so I'm planning to go to White Cloud Mountain. Do I have enough time? I'm a lady travelling alone so will it be very difficult for me because I don't speak Chinese. I'm really just trying to make the most of my lay-over. I will appreciate any suggestion. Thanks

Um, you may make full use of your time, and the Baiyunshan can be a good choice although you don't speak Chinese. From the airport, you may take subway line 3 to Yantang and transfer to a taxi to the cable car station of the mountain with the fare of around CNY15. Ask the driver to drop you off at 白云山索道“. Then catch the cable car up, enjoy the senery and hike for some time, for which around 4 hours can be ok.  For the return way, you may consider taking a taxi to catch your flight.  And remember to get back to CAN at least 1h before your flight although you have checked in online.
