If so, a work permit is required first. Those who will work in PRC need to apply for a work Z types first, and after then get work Z type and enter PRC, they can apply for the temporary residence permit.
The first step is to ask the employer in PRC to get the work permit and invitation letter of a duly authorized unit for those will work in PRC. And then those people need to prepare the following documents to apply for work Z type:
1. Passport and copy of its data page
2. The completed application form affixed with a recently-taken passport-sized color photo
3. Work permit and invitation letter from a duly authorized unit.
And then submit the application to the CVAXC to apply for Z type.
After get Z type and enter PRC, they need to apply for a temporary residence permit at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within 30 days.
