Hi, Richard, it's OK. Actually PRC does not require a remaning validity of six months on your passport at the time you enter.

I'm facing the same situation, where I can find the official policy or regulation about this answer at the China Consulate website that I could show it to the Airline?

Thanks

Actually I saw this information from the website of Beijing Immigration Office, but they don't have an English website, so I'm sorry I can't provide you an official online link.
