About:Zhangjiajie Attractions

Tianmen Mountain trip

I have heard that the 99 bends was closed in the beginning of March. My plan is visiting Tianmen Mountain around the end of April. Is any part of this area closed at that time? Can i use an escalator from the top of the cable car station to Tianmen Mountain? What is the weather like? Thanks.

Dear Fui Lou, the 99 bends has opened since March 15, 2016. Nowadays, the Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area is open normally. Yes, you can take a cable car up to the mountain, and then take an escalator to the Tianmen Cave. It will be cloudy. The temperature may range from 64F to 79F. You are advised to take light jackets, shirts, and pants. Have a nice trip! :)
