22-29 aug. 2016 really have typoon in taiwan?

May I know whether end of Aug. still having typoon?  because i planning for a trip there on 22/8/16-29/8/16. Couple going.. is it dangerous?

Yes, according to the previous statistics, August is the typhoon and rainy season in this area. There will have frequent heavy rainy days and typhoon warning. It will influence your sightseeing a lot. But generally speaking, it will be safe if stay indoor. If you wanna fully enjoy the journey, you are suggested to change the travel plan. November to May is consider the suitable period. :)
