Need visa holding HKSAR

I hold a Canadian passport flying to Hong Kong. I hold the HK returned home permit flying to Shanghai for 7 days. Do I need a visa to fly from Shanghai to Beijing for layover of 48 hours and Beijing back to Canada? Thanks

Lina, you can enter mainland PRC with the home return permit. So no visa is needed.
