About:Chinese Consulate in Auckland

Australian passport NZ resident living in Auckland with NZ passport holders

My husband and son hold NZ passports, I am a resident in NZ with them but hold an Australian passport. I understand they can apply in Auckland for a Chinese visa to visit, however non New Zealand passport holders are told to apply in Wellington. Since we will be applying together, can I apply with them in our home city of Auckland rather than separately in Wellington?

Dear, in principle, you should apply for it in Auckland. So there is no need to worry! You can apply for it from there.

Apparently there is now an 144 hour free travel to certain cities including Shanghai. This came in from February 2016. Check out the Shanghai airport
Website.
