About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

can we enjoy the 144 hour visa free transit in Shanghai

We are arriving by ship into Shanghai for 2 days are we able to obtain the 144 hour free transit and if so how do we go about it

Colleen, if the last country you departure is different from the next country you leave for after transit in Shanghai, you can enjoy the free transit. After getting off from the ship, you should go to the immigration inspection office to apply for it.

What are the passport requirements? My passport expires Feb 2017.
