Availability

I would like to travel from Guilin to Shenzhen on Wednesday 6 April, but no seats are available. is this because seats are sold out, or not yet released?

April 6 will be the Tomb Sweeping Holiday in China, rail travel is quite busy during that period. All the tickets on high speed G types from Guilin to Shenzhen have been sold out already. Now, there are only some tickets left on K950, which is a over night K type.
