About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

I am having an M type with multiple entry for 6 month and duration of each stay is 30 days..

I was before a student in China for 6 years and later after graduation have left PRC...now I m back to here with a m type visa hoping I could apply either for a post graduation purse or find a job before my M type expires.I want to know within this 6 months where am I allowed to stay since I don't have a permanent residence .is it possible to stay in my friend's home without any police registration for 6 months ?

Dear, the 6 months refers to the validity of your business M type and after each entry, you can stay for 30 days, of course, you can stay at your friend’s home. After 30 days, you need to exit and PRC and then re-enter to obtain another 30 days.

You will still need a registration. They even want one after each reentry into China or if you just stay with your friend for one day. They won't look for you, but I would still recommend you to apply with the police station next to your friends home.
