We are British nationals arriving by air to Peking Capital Airport at 08:55 on April 2nd, and departing at 16:35 on April 5th onward to Australia.Are we able to have the 72 hour free transit?

Ken, I heard that the 72-hour free stay period is now caculated from the midnight following your arrival, so your time schedule is fine for the free transit policy. But to play safe, you had better confirm this with the airlines or Beijing Airport.
