About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Am I entitled for free transit?

Hi! I'm a Philippine Passport Holder. I plan to spend vacation in my home country. I'm planning to book round-trip tickets at China Southern Airlines. I plan to travel in June 2016 (from Dubai, UAE to Manila Philippines) and August 2016 (From Manila Philippines to Dubai UAE) with each transiting to Baiyun, Guangzhou with 4 to 7 hours layover. Am I entitled for a free-transit for sightseeing?

Thank you!

Yes, Larry, you are entitled for the free transit. If you want to tour the city during the stopover, you can apply for a temporary stay permit at the airport to go outside.
