Work Visa extension Documents

Hi, I am currently working in Qingdao on work type and it is going to be expiry in August 2016. I would like to know what is the process and documents required for extension and how long before expiring my work Z type can i apply for extension.

You need to provide those documents containing your passport, foreign employment permit, the application form, a passport-style photo, accommodation registration form, employment contract. Your company needs to provide the copy of business license.
Afterwards, go to the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau to extend your employment permit first and then go to the exit and entry administration of the local PSB to extend your residence permit.

You should apply for the extension 7 days earlier before your work Z type expires.

Hi Nancy,

Thank you for kind advise. I am currently on Resident permit not on Z type visa. When i came china on Z type then i converted this into resident permit for one year, so now i want to extend my resident permit. I heard during extension its compulsory for foreigner to pay tax and show tax receipts while applying for extension, if someone don't pay taxes they don't give extension ? How about social insurance it is mandatory for foreigners

Dear, as far as I know, there is no such a requirement. The above-mentioned documents are enough.
