Quick visit on Great Wall

I am visiting China the middle of April 2016.

We are going to Wuhan and Jinan for business. We would like to sneak in a quick trip to see the wall. Where is best place for a 1 day visit

I'm afraid you may need to make at least one day to the wall, because the walls are in the northern areas of CN. I suggest you to visit Badaling in Beijing for it is the most famous and best-preserved section. You need to take a high speed train to get to Beijing west railway station early in the morning. Only a one-way trip would cost about 4h (from Nanjing), 2h (from Jinan). Upon arrival, take the subway to get to the Beijing north railway station. Catch the train S2 and it will directly take you to the wall.
