About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Visa S1 is allow to get resident permit for studying.

My is falling Msc for 2 years. from that I can get visa s1 for two years. but After I come with S1, and if i need to follow my Phd , Is it possible to take resident permit for my study purpose from the S1. It means S1 is allow to study for me or do i want again go back my country and do i want to apply X1?

Hasitha, so you will enter China with an S1, right? After you enter with it, you can get a temporary stay permit. If you want to study later, you can change this S1 type to X1 type in the local exit and entry administration and renew your residence permit. It's not allowed to study on an X1 type.
