what has happened to the shanghai big bus tour?

We will be visiting in May and had planned to use the hop on/hop off bus to get around town.  It seems to have dropped off the radar in the last week or so. No longer available on Viator and the Big Bus website says that tickets are no available

As I checked, it is true that the ticket is not available. They left an email address, and you can contact them to get the latest information about the ticket.
