About:Top 8 Reasons Why Your China Visa Gets Rejected

Left China without cancelling work permit/residence permit

Hi please help me with your advice. I was hired by a IT company on a Z visa staying in Shanghai. But the company did not pay me the agreed salary. So I left Shanghai back home without cancelling the work permit and residence permit. My company says they will cancel it but it has been 1.5 months and no news. I am from Singapore so I do not need entry permit when going to PRC but will I faced any problems if I go back PRC again? Thank you very much

If you go there just for sightseeing purpose rather than for job searching, it’s okay. I don’t think you will face any problems.

Dear, according to what I know, if your residence permit hasn’t been cancelled, you can just enter PRC with it. So anyway, it won’t be a problem.

But if you go there for job, your need to apply for a new work Z type, in this case, you need to cancel the previous work permit first and then apply for a new one. After that, you can apply for new work Z type.
