About:Embassy & Consulates of Myanmar in China

Can I get Myanmar visa in Shanghai?

I'm Japanese and live in Shanghai. I have a plan to visit Myanmar via Thailand by boat or bus or train. (Not use airports) Is there an embassy or consulate in Shanghai? If no, how can I get Myanmar tourist entry permit here?

As far as I know, there is no Myanmar consulate general in Shanghai.
You should apply for it at the embassy of Myanmar in PRC. The first thing is to prepare the required documents containing your passport affixed with a recently-taken bareheaded color photo, a covering letter from your company, as well as round trip air tickets booking record. Afterwards, submit your application to the embassy to apply for it.
