I'm a UK Citizen holidaying in Australia, how do I get a visa for China?

I'm a British Citizen, officially a resident of Peru, but holidaying in Australia for 6 months whilst staying with my sister. I wish to visit PRC for a holiday in May. How do I get an entry permit when all people have to apply in person? Thanks in advance. I will not be in transit.

Hi Lisa, from what I know, you can apply for it through the CVASC office in Australia. The postal service is available. You just need to prepare all the documents needed and send it to the office. The documents may include your passport, a copy of it, a completed application form attached with your recent color bare-headed photo, a copy of your stay permit in Australia, and round-trip tickets and hotel reservations for the upcoming trip.
