how to make the Invitation letter

I am planning to go to China to see my Chinese friend but she have no idea how to make the invitation letter for me. If I will stay with her and don't book a hotel would that be ok for application?

Yolly, if you will stay with her, the hotel booking record is not required for the application. As for the invitation letter, there is a sample on this website for your reference. The invitation letter doesn't have be in a certain format but the letter should at least contain your friend's personal information and yours, as well as information about your intended visit. And your friend should sign on this letter.
