About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

Visa for conference

I have a chance to participate in OCEANS2016 conference which will be held in Shanghai from (10.4.2016) to (13.4.2016). I am studying in japan. I am now holding Myanmar Officer Passport (Green one). Therefore, May I know whether I need entry permit for a week stay in Shanghai?

Myo, if you hold official passport, you can enjoy free entry to PRC for a stay of not exceeding 30 days. So you don’t need to apply for an entry permit to Shanghai.
