beijing to xian

We are on a tour that doesn't go to xian as we have a free day in Beijing we would like to go to Xian to see terracotta warriors returning same day by bullet train.

I am afraid that the time is not enough for you to visit Terracotta Warriors if you take bullet train from Beijing to Xian and back. The train journey takes around 5 to 6 hours for one way. You are suggested to take flight or overnight train from Beijing to Xian and then take bullet train or overnight train or flight back to Beijing after visit.

Beijing to xian
