travel from hong-kong to guilin

Hello. What would be most convenient connection? Hong-Kong to Guangzhou and then to Guilin or Shenzhen North to Guillin? Thanks

Both Guangzhou and Shenzhen is OK, usually i think the Shenzhen option maybe a little cheaper but more rides available between Guangzhou and Guilin. For Guangzhou option, you go via rail to GZ East and then transfer to GZ South by metro and finally go for guilin by rail. For the Shenzhen option, you go for Shenzhen by MTR and then for SZ North by metro and finally for Guilin by rail.
