About:Hong Kong Airport Bus
If I am getting on hongkong S1 bus, can I pay the fare on the bus or do I need a card/prepaid pass?

Both can be ok. Prepare enough loose changes and insert the exact fare when getting on the bus. Or scan your Octopus Card to pay.1
