About:China Transit Visa

21 hour layover in Guangzhou

Hi I am a US citizen and my return flight is from Ho Chi Minh City to San Francisco with a 21.5 hour layover in Guangzhou. Am I eligible for the 24 hour direct transit? Where do I apply for that? Only at the airport once I land in Guangzhou?

Hi Ashley, you are eligible for that. You can apply for it upon arrival at the immigration counter of the airport in Guangzhou.
