Police station registration on 72 hour visa

Me and my partner are planning to visit Beijing for under 72 hours and wanted to stay at an Airbnb property. Would this mean we would have to visit a police station to register? I know hotels can register for you but do not think the residents in Airbnb property's can do this. Please let us know. Thanks.
