Do i need a visa if i stay on board the cruise ship in the one stop in shanghai china

Frank, if after transiting in Shanghai, the cruise ship heads to a third country or region, instead of the one you just depart, you don’t need an entry permit. You can check whether you qualify for Shanghai's 144-hour free transit policy.
