About:Shanghai Maglev Train Ticket

How do I travel from pudong international airport to East Nanjing Road?

My hotel is at east nanjing road. I want to take the Maglev Train return ticket but it does not go all the way to East Nanjing Road I think, so where do I change for East Nanjing Road?.

Also, I have my flight the next day at 8:50am in the morning to Japan from pudong international and I am not sure whether I reach the airport in time from east nanjing road. When is the first train from east nanjing road to Pudong international?

Please help.

The train only operates between PVG and Longyang Road.
1. To East Nanjing Road: SMT (Longyang Road Station)+ Subway Line 2 (East Nanjing Road)
2. To PVG in the next early morning: Taxi
It's suggested to arrive at the airport 2 hours in advance. You need to take a taxi to Longyang Road first. The earliest schedule from there is at 06:45. You are advised to catch the first train.

Do you know how much it costs for taxi in the morning from east nanjing road to Longyang road station?.

Instead of Taxi, can I take subway line 2 from east nanjing road to Longyang road?. I don't know how early the trains start from east nanjing road going to Longyand road.

The taxi fare may be CNY 40-50. Yes, you can also take metro line 2 from East Nanjing Road to Longyang Road. The first train departs from East Nanjing Road at 06:04. :)

You think I can reach Longyang road station at 6:45am to catch the SMT to airport If I take the subway train on east nanjing road at 6:04am?.

I hope I can carry a medium sized suitcase(max 10-12 kilos weight) on metro subway?. Any congestion issues?

Yes, it takes about 15 minutes to travel from East Nanjing Road to Longyang Road. So you can catch the first magnetic train to PVG at 6:45 (about 8 minutes). It is okay for you to carry the luggage on the train. The peak hours start from 7:00, so it will not be very crowded before 7:00. Don't worry! Good luck to you!
