Visa entries says: M -   does that mean multiple?will i be able to take a day trip to macao from guangzhou and return same day to guangzhou? do i need my passport and current china entry permit only? Gail

Gail, what you have obtained is a 10-year entry permit. M stands for multiple entries. You can use it to make a day trip to Macau from Guangzhou and then return on the same day. Your passport and the 10-year entry permit are enough.
