About:Power Plugs / Sockets in China

Would an electrical device I purchased in China work the same in the US?

I purchase an Instyler (combo curling/flat iron) from China. Will my Instyler work in the US the same as would in China? Or will our voltage difference cause it to drag, slow down to a crawl and not heat up properly?
Thanks

The voltage in US is 110V, and it is 220V in China. So the instyler bought in China will still work in US. In case, you can also buy a electric transformer.
