I'll be in China (Beijing, Xi'an, Guilin, Yangshuo, and Shanghai) during the middle of March.

How crowded do you think this area will be? I've read reviews saying to skip the boat ride from Guilin to Yang shuo because it is so busy and not worth the money.. Do you think the weather and crowds will be better at this time? Would it be worth it do take the ferry?
