New 2-Year Visa for UK Nationals from China office in Hong Kong?

Has anyone tried/does anyone know about getting the new 2-year tourist L type at the Chinese office in Hong Kong?

I have a British passport with three previous Chinese entry eprmits in it. My latest, one-year entry permit has recently expired. Obviously the new two-year thing is what I'd what to get, but no idea if this news has filtered down to the Hong Kong office yet. Their website is next to useless and never gets updated.

Also no idea if the uniform £85 fee will be in effect either. I think I paid close to HK$3,000 for my last one.

Any ideas? Anyone tried it?
Thanks

I haven’t tried that, but I think one can apply for the 2-year visa from there because once policy is carried out, it will be spread everywhere. But in regard of the fee, you need to find it by yourself. The quickest way is to call the office and ask about relevant information. Here is the hot line:(852)34132300
