About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Same Day turn...would the 24 Hour Direct Transit Waiver work

I'm a US Passport holder and would be doing either LAX-PVG-LAX or DFW-PEK-DFW. I'm looking to do a mileage run as there are great fares on AA right now, but wanted to know if the 24 hour would work on a 3 hour layover to return to the US. Not sue since it show country A and then county B for transit. What if its country A to country A?

TWOV doesn´t work for your mileage run.

You can´t fly back to country A.

You must have a flight out to another country then as the US.

Dear, according to the 24 hour policy in Beijing, if you travel like DFW-PEK-DFW, namely transiting in Beijing, you can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit. But you cannot leave the airport and have to stay at the restricted zone.
